Stake your claim in New York City’s fastest-growing community. Bringing together creators from a variety of industries, WeWork Queens Plaza features two floors of prime office space in a neighborhood known for its industrial roots. Formerly a hub for factories and manufacturing plants, Long Island City is now a hybrid hotbed of art and business. JetBlue’s corporate headquarters is nearby, while Silvercup Studios—a NYC staple for film and television production—shoots just down the street. For those seeking cultural inspiration, MoMA PS1 and Museum of the Moving Image offer nearby access to the arts. Ample transportation options—including the E, F, M, R, N, W, 7, and G trains, the Q30, Q60, and Q101 buses, and the East River Ferry—put the entire city within reach. Build your business in a booming borough at WeWork Queens Plaza.
It is hard to find just a few things to say about this amazing WeWork – I absolutely love it here. There are private offices which are a little small but large enough if you are a small company and there is a really large conference table that you can use. You can easily hold a conference with 50+ seats here and there is a projector available too.
The staff here are so helpful, they really can’t do enough to make your life easier and are always available. If you are taking a break you can check out the view over Long Island City from the lounge, you can also choose from coffee, tea, juice and beer, and the usual snacks and soda that WeWork locations have. At this one we have an awesome coffee machine too!
This is a major perk as far as I am concerned. The lift can be a little confusing – there’s no Lobby button, and to get there you need to press 2. This confused me a little at the start!
This WeWork has great city links being within walking distance of major subway stations.
I’m reviewing to give other people looking for space an idea of what to expect. First of all the staff – the staff here are great, particularly the social media manager who is frankly, brilliant. I received a great tour of the facilities, plus staff are really responsive to peoples needs and want to collaborate with you to give you the best possible experience. Initially I found the music far too loud, but since the volume has been reduced this has improved. However, this may be a personal thing as I usually prefer to work without music. Even so I would still say that originally it was too loud for working. When I first joined WeWork I found it very haphazard and this is an area where they have certainly improved. It could have been the initial growing pains of a new organisation, and now it is a lot more organized and remains a great option for people looking for work space.
