We’ve been really happy working here at WeWork E 42nd Street and we have now been here for around 5 months. We love the fact that there is a lot of diversity in the businesses that work here – you can get anything from fashion to hedge funds on our floor and everyone is very friendly.
The location is another plus for us, it is nice and easy to get here because it has great access to Grand Central Station so you can get practically anywhere. For example, it is only about 18 minutes from Long Island City where I happen to live – which is pretty cool.
The building is usually kept nice and clean although I have to say the bathrooms can sometimes get really messy. Either they need to be cleaned more often or people need to be made aware that they need to go IN the toilet not around it. Perhaps a bit of both, although a memo telling people to stop acting like savages might not go amiss.
The only other thing is the noise – the hollow floors means that footsteps tend to reverberate quite a lot, and if someone is wearing heals you start to wonder what on earth is coming down the hall.
If you need absolute quiet to work this is something that will bother you. All of that aside, we’ve been so happy here we have just signed up for a bigger space so I’d be happy to recommend both the location and the WeWork brand to anyone.
